One or two at a time.
Most of my work runs through Conversion Factory. Now and then something comes along that I want to build myself — this is how that happens.
Brand identity + logo
Using brand thievery — embedding the things that inspire you into the visual language of the company. Color, typography, imagery: the building blocks everything else gets made from.
Website design + build
Design and build, not design-then-hand-off. Copy first, then the thing that carries it.
Product design
Applying the brand to the product, and making something intuitive enough that users become loyalists rather than tourists.
Where it lands depends on surface area — identity alone sits at the bottom, identity plus site plus product well above it.
Considered case by case, for companies I'd want to own a piece of.
I'm very picky about who I work with outside Conversion Factory. The agency pays me well and does excellent work, so taking something on personally means it has to be worth the trade — and the pricing reflects that rather than apologizing for it.
If this is more than you want to spend, that's not a rejection. Conversion Factory is the right door.
Got something worth building?
Tell me what it is and why now. I take on one or two of these at a time outside of my role at Conversion Factory.
